The research aimed to highlight the impact of the Holy Qur’an through the idea of miracles in the development of rhetoric and criticism. The historical and descriptive approach was adopted. The research consisted of three sections; the first: the impact of the Qur’an on the emergence of rhetoric and criticism, the second: the impact of the Qur’an on the stage of development and prosperity (the fifth century), and the third: the impact of the Qur’an on the stage after the fifth century until the present era. The most important results are: The Holy Qur’an had a clear impact on the development of rhetoric and criticism, which were linked to it as a subject for their study. It contributed to the development of their areas. The development reached its peak at the hands of Abdul-Qahir Al-Jurjani. After that, rhetoric and criticism deteriorated due to their going away from the Qur’an, so rhetoric turned into a dry educational science, and criticism separated from it, taking another path.
