Abstract

This research aimed to clarify the doubts raised about the frequency of Qur’anic readings, discuss them, and the serious consequences of denying frequent readings on religion and belief. The research adopted the descriptive-analytical approach and it was divided into an introduction and two sections; the first section: readings between frequency and its absence, and the second: doubts about the frequency of readings. Frequency of the seven readings, their discussion, and a conclusion.

The research came out with a number of results, the most important of which is: that frequent recitations are one of the types of recitations in general, representing what is agreed to be frequent, which are the seven famous ones. Most of the frequent readings go back in their chains of transmission to Sir. Ali bin Abi Talib, may Allah bless his face. It is based on hearing, so denying it is dangerous for religion and belief.
