Abstract

The research aimed to provide a vision for the development of general educational objectives in Yemen in light of benefiting from the experience of the Gulf Countries and their experience in this field through comparison between the components of the objectives between the two sides. The comparative-analytical approach was adopted in the research which is organized in three sections; the first: A Conceptual Methodological Framework, the second: The Theoretical Background, and the third: A Comparison of Educational objectives both in Yemen and the Gulf Countries. The research ended in a Conclusion and Recommendations. The most important results of the research are: The differences between the two sides are greater than the similarities in the various components of the objectives. The objectives of the Gulf Countries almost fulfill the components of the objective-building process and reflect pioneering expertise and experience, while the objectives in Yemen lacked many of the components. In light of this, a suggested proposal was presented for developing educational objectives in Yemen.
