Abstract

#This study aims to highlight the importance of teaching English as a foreign language in the fourth grade of government primary schools. The research followed a descriptive-analytical methodology and consisted of an introduction to the study topic, four chapters, and a conclusion. The first chapter addressed the problem of the study, its objectives, research questions, and scope. The second chapter reviewed previous studies, while the third chapter discussed the justifications for teaching English in the fourth grade of primary education. The fourth chapter examined the impact of learning a foreign language on the native language. The methodology and sample of the study were presented in the fifth chapter, followed by data analysis and discussion of the results in the sixth chapter. The conclusion included recommendations.
