The paper aimed to study the proposed estimator for estimating the reliability function R(t) of Weibull distribution, dealing with types of samples commonly used in reliability and life tests, complete and controlled ones; and identify bias equations, mean square error, and relative efficiency of the estimator and compare them with those of related studies. A number of conclusions were introduced in this study, most notably: it was observed that the estimator showed a higher relative efficiency than those of the classical ones ( ), and the bias estimator was an increasing equation in relation to the sample size when ni = , and it was noted that when comparing the results of the relative efficiency of this estimator with the classical estimators, it was clear that the proposed estimator showed a high relative efficiency.
