The Civilizational Features of the Bronze Age in Southwest Arabia (Ancient Yemen)

Abstract

#This research aims to study the civilizational features of the Bronze Age in Southwest Arabia (Ancient Yemen) and the possibility of establishing a clear and detailed chronological sequence for this period, comparable to other ancient civilizations in the Near East. Through the study of the civilizational features of the Bronze Age in Southwest Arabia, it has been concluded that a clear and detailed chronological sequence from the beginning to the end of this era cannot be established, as observed in other ancient civilizations in the Near East. The difficulty lies in the lack of sufficient information and evidence to formulate such a sequence, emphasizing the importance of conducting further studies and future excavations. Additionally, the relative variation in lifestyle and settlement patterns in Southwest Arabia during this era primarily results from geographic, climatic, and environmental differences that characterized each region. These variations are not the outcome of the presence of other human species or strong external influences.
