The study aims to shed light on the natural sources of radon gas and various methods to mitigate its risks to human health in residential environments. The study is divided into an introduction, five sections and a conclusion. The study sections shed light on radon gas and its natural sources, factors influencing radon gas concentration in nature, radon gas levels in Yemen, radon gas concentration in homes, methods to reduce radon gas in buildings, analysis of some existing buildings in Yemen. The study important findings, revealed that radon gas attracted increasing global attention as the second leading cause of lung cancer. It was concluded that Yemen’s climatic environmental; conditions helped mitigate Radon risks by means of natural ventilation.
