#This research aims to trace and monitor the intellectual roles and developments of Islamic trends in Yemen and clarify the historical roots of Salafi trends in Yemen. The research adopts a historical and descriptive-analytical approach. It is divided into a general introduction, followed by four sections: the first section introduces the Salaf and Salafism, the second section discusses the historical roots of Salafi trends in Yemen, the third section explores the relationship between the Zaidi doctrine and Salafi trends in Yemen and the extent of convergence between Zaidi scholars and Sunnis in Yemen, and the fourth section examines the formation conditions of contemporary Salafi trends in Yemen and the factors that contributed to their emergence. The research concludes with a conclusion that includes the most important findings, including the fact that the Yemeni arena suffers from intellectual conflicts, and this study contributed to bringing Islamic trends closer together by highlighting the compatibility between these trends and groups.
