The current research aimed at determining the level of the effect of cooperative learning on the academic achievement among the students of the scientific eleventh class in the schools of Al-Nadira District. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach and the semi-experimental approach with the two experimental and control groups and the pre and post applications. The research sample consisted of (64) she-students from the students of the scientific tenth class distributed among two divisions in Najibah Al-Ma'mari School in Al-Nadira. One of the divisions was taught using cooperative learning strategy, and the second was taught using the traditional way. An achievement test was applied in Syntax and Morphology on the two samples. The results showed that there are differences in the achievement test at the level of statistical significance (0,05) between the means of the scores of the students of the experimental group and the control group in the pre and post applications in favor of the experimental group which shows that there is effect for the cooperative learning on the academic achievement. The researcher recommended using this strategy in the curricula of Arabic language in general.
