Abstract

The current study was concerned with the techniques of electronic communication between individuals, and studied its risks with regard to the five necessities: religion, self, mind, offspring and money. The researcher pointed to the most common dangers threating the users of communication sites, which causes a breach of the shariah  intention of  preserving and protecting the five necessities, in terms of existence and non-existence.  Furthermore, the study touched upon the ways to prevent these dangers, and how to protect users from them. The study included an introduction that contained a definition of the study terms, and five sections, under each topic: the definition of the necessary interest  intended to be preserved, the dangers of social networking sites on its users, and how to protect them. The study concluded with the most important findings, recommendations and suggestions. Therefore, the study would be a legitimate and intentional contribution to the treatment of a modern technical issue that has become afflicting societies with its dangers, and to highlight the perfection, comprehensiveness and advantages of sharia, the moderation of its texts and rules, its content with the developments of time and place, and its inclusion of the most important solutions and alternatives, while communities complained of loss and deviation.
