Abstract

This study aims to correct the age distribution of the Republic of Yemen according to what was recorded for the year (2004) of errors that affect population censuses, by using population statistical methods as a first stage. It also aims to prepare a brief life schedule for the Republic of Yemen by using the Tweedie distributions model, where the life schedule is considered as a correction tool, and this is the second stage.  The study found that life expectancy at birth in the Republic of Yemen according to the 2004 census was (46, 47) years for both males and females, respectively.
