The current research aims to identify the level of social intelligence among the students of the first three grades of basic education in the city of Ibb، and the significance of differences in the level of social intelligence according to the variable of enrollment in kindergarten (enrolled - not enrolled) and the variable of gender (male - female). The descriptive-comparative approach was followed، and a stratified random sample of (4%) was selected from the research community، which consisted of (322) male and female students. The illustrated social intelligence test for children prepared by (Jawdah and Mubarez، 2011) was used after confirming its validity and reliability. The research obtained a number of results، the most important of which is the existence of statistically significant differences in the level of social intelligence of the research sample according to the kindergarten enrollment variable (enrolled - not enrolled) in favour of those enrolled، in addition to the lack of differences in social intelligence according to the gender variable. In light of these results، appropriate recommendations were made.
