Sustainability in Provisions of Islamic Legislation on Individuals and Society

The study aims to prove the existence of sustainability in the provisions of Islamic legislation, and introduce an integrated scientific vision on "sustainability" and its origin in sharia provisions. The study has followed inductive and deductive approaches. The study has been divided into an introduction and four sections. The first section shows the concepts of sustainability, and its related synonyms, and the Islamic legislation; the second section addresses sustainability in mandated provisions of the Islamic legislation; the third section addresses sustainability in statutory provisions of Islamic legislation; and the fourth section shows the impact of sustainability in legislative provisions on individuals and society. The study proved both originality and effectiveness of sustainability in the provisions of Islamic legislation.
