It is divided into an introduction and three sections. Section 1 addresses benefits of Qat. Section 2 presents Qat’s harms. Section 3 tackles the provision of Qat. It concludes that chewing Qat is a deep and complex problem. It involves all chewers, becoming a traditional social habit practiced almost by all people; its many bad effects outweigh its few benefits. Thus, abandoning this bad habit requires farsightedness and comprehensive studies that consider flexibility and caution.
