Abstract

The research aimed to find out to which extent competencies for managing the classroom communication situation are available among faculty members at Hodeida University. The descriptive-analytical approach was followed and the research was divided into an introduction, followed by two sections; the first: a methodological framework, the second: conducting the study, then the results and recommendations were presented. The results showed that, the level of availability of competencies among faculty members was average and they believed that they had all competencies to a higher degree than did the learners, whose ratings ranged between average and weak.
