The Yemeni Woman's Opinion on Female Circumcision in Light of Her Level of Education and Exposure to the Media

The research aimed to verify the hypothesis that, Yemeni women’s position on female circumcision is affected by the level of education and exposure to the media, relying on the statistical approach, according to the 1997 survey. The research was divided into three sections; the first: statistical processing steps, the second: representing the dependent variable with the appropriate transformation, third: gradually reconciling the model, then the results and recommendations were presented. The results showed that, the statistical treatment carried out confirmed that the effect of education on the position of Yemeni women towards female genital mutilation was morally correct, and the effect of the media was morally correct.
