General Competitive Strategies and Their Relationship to Achieving Competitive Advantage: A Field Study in a Sample of Industrial Organizations in Aden Governorate

The research aimed to determine the nature of the relationship between the general competitive strategies specified for the purposes of this research, and the price and non-price competitive advantage in a sample of industrial organizations. The descriptive-analytical approach is followed in this research which is divided into five; the first: theoretical background, the second: general competitive strategies, and the third: competitive advantage, fourth: statistical analysis and hypothesis testing and the fifth: Conclusion and recommendations. The results showed that: there is a tendency for the industrial companies studied to adopt some of the variables of the comprehensive cost leadership strategy in order to achieve a competitive advantage through optimal exploitation of the sources of these advantages.
