Hadrami Sufism. Its methods and sources

This research dealt with Hadrami Sufism, its source and methods. Knowing the source and methods is the cornerstone of learning about Sufism among Hadrami scholars. It has been shown that what helps in revealing this is defining the search terms. Likewise, delving into the study of the source and method of Sufism increases the clarity of the topic and focuses the researcher on its essence, limits and dimensions. The research has been detailed. The concept of Sufism in language and terminology, then an explanation of the emergence of Sufism and Sufi methods, the original source of Hadhrami Sufism, then its secondary sources, then the research concluded with a set of results, the most important of which is: that Sufism, distinguished by its philosophy and methods, did not move to Hadhramaut, except in the seventh century AH, and that the researchers They almost agree that the emergence of Sufism in Hadhramaut is linked to Sheikh Muhammad bin Ali, famous as the “Faqih al-Muqaddam” (d. 653 AH), who is the founder of tariqa Sufism, and that the Alawite order is the origin in Hadhramaut, and then other orders branched off from it that emerged from it, and that the source of Sufism is To my book: The Strength of Hearts and the Revival of Religious Sciences, and that the second is the source of Hadhrami Sufism, and the sources and references are mentioned in the conclusion.
