Methods of scholars in extracting rhetorical explanatory subtleties

This research presents the paths of scholars in their derivation of the rhetorical exegetic genres, by tracing the methods that the commentators stopped at during their interpretation and contemplation of the verses, which enabled them to realize the purpose of the rhetorical interpretations. The research aimed to: clarify what is meant by the research terms, and reveal the methods that the scholars relied upon to arrive at the rhetorical interpretive genres. The research followed the inductive approach in collecting the material from its contexts, and the descriptive analytical approach in presenting the scientific material and analyzing its issues. The title of the research required dividing it into an introduction and three sections: the introduction: defining the research terms, the first topic: linguistic methods, and the second topic: methods related to the Qur’anic sciences. The third section: Various methods, then the conclusion, which contains the most important results and recommendations, the most important of which are: the multiplicity of methods that scholars have relied on in devising rhetorical explanatory subtleties, the most widely adopted method of contemplating the context of the preceding and subsequent verses. The methods of rhetorical explanatory subtleties revealed a wealth of hidden connotations that It demonstrated the inimitable eloquence of the Qur’an and one of the aspects of the miracle, which is the rhetorical miracle. It also demonstrated the accuracy of the Qur’anic expression in selecting words that are appropriate to the context of the verses, their content, and their general essence.
