The study aimed to determine the impact of IT in chieving competitive advantage in the Yemeni banks operating in the capital and of the number(18) Bank, and the study used a questionnaire was distributed to managers(information systems, operations, finance, human resources) in the banks, the study sample.
The study found that the use of networks was the best dimension of information technology used to achieve competitive advantage in the banks, the study sample, the results indicated that the strategy of excellence the best strategy of strategies for competitive advantage that can be used in the banking environment of Yemen, The results of hypothesis testing and an effect IT strategies to achieve competitive advantage at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05).
