Abstract

This study aims to define the concept of academic freedom, identify its various aspects, determine its limits and scope, and assess its level of practice in reality based on the responses of faculty members at the university of Ibb. The study consists of an introduction, three sections and a conclusion. The first section discussed the theoretical framework and previous studies. The second section covered the study methodology, analysis of results, and discussion. The third section presented recommendations and suggestions. The study findings revealed that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of academic freedom practice between Yemeni and foreign faculty members in all areas, except for the freedom to communicate with the local community.
