The study aims to identify the reality of the indicators of good governance in Egypt, Tunisia and Yemen, at the level of each of the indicators studied in the selected countries, and study the development of the volume of foreign direct investment in these countries to reach economic development, and then study the impact of the index of good governance on The study was based on the assumption that foreign direct investment is a dependent factor that increases as indicators of good governance as an independent factor. An analysis of the study indicators shows that the relationship between FDI indicators as a percentage of GDP and the indicators of FDI The analysis also showed that there is a statistically significant correlation between the FDI indicator and the indicators of good governance in the right to vote and accountability, political stability, and corruption perceptions, while there is no significant relationship with the indicators of government effectiveness, Economic structures in the selected countries, the predominance of bureaucratic nature, and the need of the selected countries to study these indicators of their importance in attracting foreign direct investment.
