This research aimed at determining the range of effectiveness of Concept Maps Strategy in teaching the syntactical concepts on students' achievement and developing their orientations towards among tenth grade she-students at the schools of Al-Sadda District. The study sample consisted of tenth grade she-students at Sayeda Aisha School. It was randomly distributed into two groups (controlled and experimental). This research used the semi-experimental methodology. An achievement test and an orientation measurement towards the syntactical concepts were constructer and applied on the groups of the study priorly and posteriorly . The results showed that there are significant statistical differences at the indication level (0,05) between the means of the grades of the experimental and controlled groups she-students in both the post-achievement test and the post-orientation measurement for the favor of the experimental group. The results also indicate that there is a significant positive correlated relationship at the indicative level (0,05) between the academic achievement and the orientation measurement. The researchers recommended enriching the Arabic language syllables with Concepts Maps Strategy,as well as showing the role of the Arabic language in solving the problems in students' life.
