The Level of Organizational Entrepreneurship in Yemeni Universities in the Light of Information Technology

This study aimed to identify the level of organizational entrepreneurship in Yemeni universities in the light of information technology from academic and administrative leaderships' point of view; and if any statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the participants concerning the level of organizational entrepreneurship in the light of information technology attributed to the variable of experience years. To achieve the objectives of the study, a descriptive survey approach was used. Then, a questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data from a sample of 321 academic and administrative leaderships selected randomly (35%) from the society of the study using a stratified sampling. The findings of the study showed that the level of the organizational entrepreneurship in Yemeni universities in the light of information technology was low (M = 2.03; SD = 0.09); the overall level of practicing organizational entrepreneurship in all dimensions was low, i.e., the dimension of ''risks'' scored the top rank, the dimension of ''independency'' scored the second rank; the dimension of ''proactivity'' scored the third rank, and the dimension of ''innovation'' scored the fourth rank; and there were no statistically significant differences at the level (α =0.05) between the mean scores of the sample's responses concerning the level of practicing the organizational entrepreneurship in Yemeni universities in the light of information technology in all dimensions attributed to the variable of experience years.
