#The research aims to highlight the hadiths in which Sufyan Ath-Thawri differed with Shu'bah ibn al-Hajjaj, leading to their classification as weak due to their disagreement. The study also examines the extent of variation between the two imams in the authentication of hadiths and highlights who is given precedence between them. In many of the hadiths analyzed, the research demonstrates the superiority of Sufyan over Shu'bah according to the scholars of hadith. This preference is evident in cases where Sufyan's position aligns with the correct understanding, and Sufyan is given precedence over Shu'bah based on the statements of the imams or even based on Shu'bah's own statements. This conclusion is the most probable outcome of the research, as no follower or witness supporting the opposing view was found.
